St. James Academy won the last time they faced Lee's Summit and things went their way on Saturday too. The Thunder walked away with a 2-0 win over the Tigers.

Mya Lee paced St. James Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Lee got some help from Ellen Dorsey and her 22 assists. Madeline Elter controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

St. James Academy's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Lee's Summit, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3.

St. James Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Notre Dame de Sion on the 6th. As for Lee's Summit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Olathe Northwest on the 6th.
