After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Mason, Bremerton was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Bainbridge Spartans as they made off with a 17-9 victory. The Knights' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Payron Littleraven-Oliver made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple was her first of the season.
