After three games on the road, Pahrump Valley is heading back home. They will take on the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Pahrump Valley is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Sports Leadership & Management in Nevada (Pahrump Valley is ranked eighth, while Sports Leadership & Management is ranked 68th).
Pahrump Valley can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat The Meadows School 50-14 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Pahrump Valley has posted since December 21, 2023.
Pahrump Valley had a senior duo take command as Paris Coleman scored 25 points along with five rebounds and two steals and Kailani Martinez dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games she's played. Heaven Cooper was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Sports Leadership & Management was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 54-49 to Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas.
Pahrump Valley pushed their record up to 19-1 with that victory, which was their 16th straight on the road. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 26.38 points. As for Sports Leadership & Management, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
Everything came up roses for Pahrump Valley against Sports Leadership & Management in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 48-20 win.
