The Narbonne Gauchos will take on the Providence Pioneers at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Narbonne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.3 runs per game this season.

Samantha Dillon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on four hits and racked up 14 Ks.

The team also got some help courtesy of Guiomara Rugama, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Wednesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Narbonne has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.2 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Providence struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 11 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
