St. Mary's game two weeks ago was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They took down Memorial Christian Academy 45-27. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win St. Mary's has managed all season.
Among those leading the charge was Tyler Zimmerhanzel, who scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Gage Garsee, who scored eight points.
St. Mary's now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Memorial Christian Academy, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Mary's on the road again on Thursday and play against Griffin School at 6:00 p.m. on January 25th. Griffin School is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. As for Memorial Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Grace Academy on Saturday.
