The Grafton Clippers had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They had just enough and edged Tabb out 16-13. The victory was just what Grafton needed coming off of a 35-6 defeat in their prior game.
Grafton got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Makale Barnett out in front who rushed for 118 yards. Grafton also got help from Jaden Brown who showed off his sure hands for 131 receiving yards.
Grafton's win bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Tabb, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-3.
Grafton will be playing at home against Jamestown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jamestown has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since August 25th. As for Tabb, they will head out on the road to face off against Warhill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Warhill will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
