Softball Recap: Central Hardin Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Central Hardin came out on top against Elizabethtown on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run second inning. The Bruins took their game against the Panthers 9-5. The Bruins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Central Hardin's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-11. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Elizabethtown, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Coming up, Central Hardin will venture away from home to square off against Greenwood at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Elizabethtown, they will host Mercy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
