Mingo Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dylan Vance, who rushed for 134 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.1 yards per carry. Vance also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up three sacks and making six total tackles. Jace "Bam" Coleman was another key back, rushing for 83 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Mingo Central's defense and their nine sacks. Vance and Brayden Mounts were the leaders of the group effort as each produced three apiece. LeQues Strother is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least 11 every time he's taken the field this season.
Point Pleasant now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Mingo Central, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
