Having lost for the first time this season, Wellington fell to 2-1. As for Timnath, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.
Everything came up roses for Wellington against Timnath in their previous matchup back in September of 2023, as the team secured a 50-14 victory.
