Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Campbell Bohling and Lexie Johnson Lead Bruning-Davenport/Shickley to Victory

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley won the last time they faced Lawrence-Nelson and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles enjoyed a cozy 48-33 win over the Lawrence-Nelson Raiders.

Leading Bruning-Davenport/Shickley to victory were Lexie Johnson and Campbell Bohling. Johnson went 6 of 10 on her way to 17 points and six rebounds, while Bohling almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Johnson is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Olivia Schlegel was another key player, putting up five points.

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lawrence-Nelson, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley and Sutton will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lawrence-Nelson will take on Shelton in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shelton will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lawrence-Nelson surely won't give up without a fight.
