Central Connecticut III West recap Oct. 9, 2012
Bloomfield extended the longest winning streak in Central Connecticut III West this week by beating Rockville, 31-0. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Rocky Hill led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Platt. Troy Syme threw for 103 yards and three touchdowns and ran for six yards in the win.
The Terriers' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Chris Young chipped in 166 yards.
Tommy Seaver was the best wideout in the league this week as Rocky Hill bested the Panthers. Seaver tallied four receptions for 103 yards.
Bloomfield's Pedro Roman and Norvel Stewart have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Central Connecticut III West in both passing and receiving yards. Roman has thrown for 408 yards this season, while Stewart, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has nine catches for 211 yards. Young from David Coyne's team leads the league in rushing with 735 yards.
