The Cedar Valley Aviators entered their tilt with the Spanish Fork Dons with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Cedar Valley walked away with a 66-54 win over Spanish Fork on Tuesday.
Cedar Valley's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hunter Larson, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Larson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Heath Christensen, who scored 13 points along with five assists.
Cedar Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Spanish Fork, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 4-10.
Cedar Valley the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Salem Hills at 7:00 p.m. on January 19th. Hopefully Salem Hills focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. As for Spanish Fork, they will head out on the road to square off against Wasatch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wasatch is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
