After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McCall-Donnelly, the Weiser Wolverines were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They managed a 58-53 victory over Homedale. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Weiser also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Homedale lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tiana Sorenson, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Olivia Asumendi, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Homedale struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Weiser's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Homedale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Weiser does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Homedale also has no future games currently scheduled.
