Bethel is 10-0 against Bunnell since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Bethel Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Bunnell Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Bethel will be strutting in after a win while Bunnell will be coming in after a defeat.
Bethel came into Thursday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 53-42 win over Immaculate on Thursday.
Meanwhile, sadly, Bunnell is still looking for their first win of the season after 17 contests. They were outmatched by Stratford on the road and fell 74-36.
Bethel's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Bunnell, they dropped their record down to 0-17 with that loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Everything came up roses for Bethel against Bunnell when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 48-16 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bethel since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
