The Crescent Loggers had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.5 points), and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-42 win over Clallam Bay. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Crescent also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Lukas Love was his usual excellent self, scoring eight points along with 21 rebounds and seven assists. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominiq Sprague, who scored 11 points.
Crescent's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.4 points per game. As for Clallam Bay, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescent will take on Non Varsity Opponent at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Clallam Bay won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Lake Quinault at 2:00 p.m. on January 6th. Lake Quinault comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
