Quad Cities Christian entered their tilt with Pathway Christian on Friday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Pathway Christian Panthers 78-34. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 20 points or more this season.

Quad Cities Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alijah Zentic, who made all 5 shots he took for 12 points in addition to six assists and four steals. Zentic is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. Tanner Garant was another key player, going 6-for-10 on his way to 12 points and four steals.

Zentic wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Quad Cities Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Denver Nelson, who posted 11 points. What's more, Nelson also posted a 67% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ian Shetler, who put up four points.

Quad Cities Christian pushed their record up to 18-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points over those games. As for Pathway Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-10.

Quad Cities Christian has already played their next match, a 70-67 win against Faith Christian on the 8th. As for Pathway Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 49-41 victory against Morning Star Academy on the 8th.
