Yuma's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Max Pacheco, who scored 12 points along with three steals. Nick Amador was another key contributor, as he made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc racking up 9 points and 6 assists.
Yuma's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Cibola, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yuma will take on Moon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Moon Valley is ranked 147th, while Yuma is ranked 136th). As for Cibola, they will be playing at home against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
