Luther had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They breezed by the Black River Falls Tigers to the tune of 72-29. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 25 points or more this season.

Luther pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Black River Falls, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
