Even though the Legacy Lightning have not done well against the Boulder Panthers recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Legacy walked away with a 60-47 victory over Boulder. The win was nothing new for Legacy as they're now sitting on four straight.
Legacy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brandon Domsch out in front who scored 16 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joey Delescinskis, who scored 17 points along with two steals.
Legacy is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season. As for Boulder, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Legacy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Prairie View at 6:30 p.m. on January 24th. Prairie View will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings (they are ranked 258th, while Legacy is ranked 57th). As for Boulder, they will head out on the road to face off against Poudre at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Poudre is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.
