Amanda Wiley continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Yuma Catholic, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 15 rebounds. The match was Wiley's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sadie Estes, who scored four points along with four steals.
Ironwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Yuma Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
Ironwood will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Casteel at 7:00 p.m. on January 8th. Yuma Catholic won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ganado at 1:30 p.m. on December 30, 2023. Ganado is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
