On Saturday, Hillcrest Academy blew past Rivermont Collegiate, posting a  63-28 win on the road. The  victory made it back-to-back wins for Hillcrest Academy.
 Rivermont Collegiate's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Tahir Kaplan, who  scored 8 points along with 11  rebounds. Kaplan scored a full 28.6% of Rivermont Collegiate's points, the second time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points.  Soulaymane El Jerari was another key contributor,  scoring 6 points.
 Hillcrest Academy now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Rivermont Collegiate,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 0-2.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillcrest Academy will take on Lone Tree at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another  in Iowa (Lone Tree is ranked 25th, while Hillcrest Academy is ranked 46th). As for Rivermont Collegiate, they will be playing at home against East Moline Christian at 12:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
