Magna Vista scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Abingdon Falcons by a score of 68-65. It was the first time this season that the Warriors let down their fans at home.

Magna Vista's loss ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-5. As for Abingdon, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Magna Vista will square off against George Washington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Magna Vista knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully George Washington likes a good challenge. As for Abingdon, they will take on Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Abingdon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
