A Season-Best Effort from Jeremiah Delarosa Leads Atwater over El Capitan
On Friday, Atwater got the W thanks in part to Jeremiah Delarosa playing the best football he has all season. Delarosa rushed for 129 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now punched in two or more in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
The victory (which was Atwater's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Delarosa's next match is against Golden Valley on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Merced Gets a Boost from Dupree in 45-7 Victory
Merced picked up their third consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Quintell Dupree. Nobody could stop Dupree as he threw for 191 yards and three touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
