The Hozho Academy Wolves will challenge the Navajo Prep Fighting Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Hozho Academy's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Jemez Valley 13-0. The victory was nothing new for the Wolves as they're now sitting on five straight.
Cody Dooley made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted over his last eight matchups.

In other batting news, Hank Hartog was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Brown, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Tohatchi typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Navajo Prep proved too difficult a challenge. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 8-1 win.
Navajo Prep got a massive performance out of Kayden Nez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Nez is becoming a predictor of the Fighting Eagles' success: when he posts at least three RBI the team is undefeated (and 6-10 when he doesn't). Liam Begay also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Hozho Academy's record is now 14-7. As for Navajo Prep, their record now sits at 9-10.
Hozho Academy beat Navajo Prep 13-9 in their previous meeting back in March of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolves since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
