Norwood-Norfolk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Alexandria Central Purple Ghosts and fell 54-25. One positive for the Flyers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Norwood-Norfolk's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Alexandria Central, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwood-Norfolk will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. Lawrence Central at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. As for Alexandria Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Thousand Islands at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
