Fort Osage (Independence, Mo.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Raytown (Mo.), 36-0, on Saturday.
The Indians were up 22-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Steven McBee in the first quarter.
Fort Osage expanded its lead to 29 points entering the fourth quarter. FO's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown run by
Ezra Vaoifi.
The Independence school's most effective player was McBee. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown and ran for one touchdown. He has now scored 15 touchdowns on the season.
The Indians went into the matchup giving up only 6.1 points per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 57-10 win for Fort Osage.
The defeat comes as a step back for Raytown, which notched a 38-12 victory over Chrisman in its previous outing. With the win FO extended its winning streak to four games. The loss snapped the Bluejays' 3-game winning streak.
