While Lakeview put up plenty of runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Plain Dealing. The Gators put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 19-0 victory. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by seven runs or more this season.

Lakeview's win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-11. As for Plain Dealing, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lakeview will challenge Jonesboro-Hodge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something the Gators will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Plain Dealing, they will head out to face off against Lincoln Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
