Bradley Hughes posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
