The Panguitch Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 27 points or more this season. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 59-26 blowout they got on the road against Beaver Dam. With Panguitch ahead 38-9 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Panguitch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Parkin, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Burkley Dalton, who scored nine points.
Panguitch's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.1 points per game. As for Beaver Dam, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
Panguitch is on the road again on Friday and play against Parowan at 4:00 p.m. on January 5th. Parowan is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak. As for Beaver Dam, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pahranagat Valley at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in their respective states (Pahranagat Valley is ranked 88th in Nevada, while Beaver Dam is ranked 105th in Arizona).
