Timberlake has gone a perfect 5-0 against Orofino recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Tigers will welcome the Maniacs at 5:00 p.m. Timberlake is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.
Timberlake's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Kellogg 21-0. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Shae Jones made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with five RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Alannah Winland and Marissa Needs did most of the damage at the plate: Winland got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base, while Needs got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave Winland a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jesi Kitchin, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Orofino was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 7-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Genesee.
Livia Johnson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Rilee Diffin was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Timberlake is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Orofino, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. Timberlake hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Orofino struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.9 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Timberlake's way against Orofino in their previous matchup back in April of 2023, as Timberlake made off with a 12-6 win. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Maniacs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
