Softball Recap: Alexander Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Alexander finally came back down to earth on Friday. They fell just short of the Attica Blue Devils by a score of 3-2. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Alexander saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Morgan Boyce, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Alexander now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Attica, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.

Alexander does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Attica, they will host Perry at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
