Johnny Menefield Goes Supernova in Brady Win
Starting off the list is Brady's Johnny Menefield, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Menefield rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 141 rushing yards.
The win (which was Brady's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Menefield and Brady will welcome Early at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Early was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Cameron Love did his best to prevent it. Clifton had no answer to Love as he rushed for 219 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per carry. Love showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 61 yards.
Early is on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6. Love and Early are taking a road trip to square off against Brady at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Briton Rice and Co. Win Sixth in a Row
Briton Rice's big game helped extend Tolar's winning streak to six on Friday. Rice was dynamite, throwing for 233 yards and four touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
Tolar's win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Rice and Tolar will face off against Clifton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Sean Jacoby Turns in Season-Best Performance
Sean Jacoby produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Brady to the win on Friday. Jacoby rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 82 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
For the season, Jacoby has thrown 10 touchdowns while averaging 76.1 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 25.57 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 41 rushing yards.

Kaeden Byrd Makes It Two for Early
The second Early player making an appearance here is Kaeden Byrd, and for good reason. He wasn't messing around on Friday, making 24 total tackles (1.0 for loss). The game was his seventh straight with seven or more total tackles.
For the season, Byrd has averaged 15.7 total tackles per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 5.86 total tackles per game.
