Juniata were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Millersburg 55-7. That looming 48-point mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Juniata yet.
Juniata got off to a slow start in their contest last week, but they had no such trouble against Millersburg as they cruised to a 41-point first half. Millersburg wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 41-7 heading into the break. Juniata put the contest away in the third quarter with 14 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.
Juniata's victory brought them up to 2-7. Millersburg are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-9.
It's more conference action for Juniata and Millersburg in their upcoming matches. Next week Juniata will take on Newport at 7:00 PM. Unlike Juniata, Newport will be limping in after taking a loss. Millersburg will stay at home against Williams Valley at 7:00 PM.
