Nebraska Christian relied on the efforts of Oliver Herman, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and five steals, and Micah Perdew, who scored 27 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That makes it 15 consecutive games in which Perdew has scored at least a third of Nebraska Christian's points. Quentin Herman was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Meanwhile, Palmer's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 47-33 fall against Cedar Bluffs.
Nebraska Christian's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-14. As for Palmer, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Everything came up roses for Nebraska Christian against Palmer when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 74-14 victory. With Nebraska Christian ahead 35-10 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
