Leah Rice posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, she turned in her biggest game of the season, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

Coming up, Rice and Vance Charter will be playing at home against Voyager Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
