After losing to the Trinity Leadership Tigers the last time they met, the Wyatt Chaparrals decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Wyatt blew past Trinity Leadership 49-28. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wyatt.
Wyatt got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Cynaa Weathers out in front who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Zyniesha Horner was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 steals and 5 assists.
Wyatt pushed their record up to 7-7 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Trinity Leadership, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
Wyatt will head out on the road to face off against Kennedale at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Kennedale is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Trinity Leadership, they will be playing at home against A Plus Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. A Plus Academy comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
