Baseball Recap: Mcintosh Has No Trouble Against Lovejoy

While McIntosh put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Lovejoy. The Chiefs were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Wildcats. The Chiefs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by six runs or more this season.

McIntosh let Joaquin Maldonado and Jake Lutz run wild. Maldonado got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI and one run, while Lutz went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one run. That's the most RBI Maldonado has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Bennett Cherry, who earned two RBI and two runs.

McIntosh was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .345 or higher in three consecutive contests.

McIntosh's record now sits at 13-15. As for Lovejoy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-12-1.

As of now, neither McIntosh nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
