Given Creekside's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while St. Joseph Academy is ranked 507th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
San Jose Prep's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Creekside, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
