Harding University is on a 16-game streak of home losses (dating back to last season), Berry a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change. The Harding University Rams will take on the Berry Cardinal at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Meanwhile, Berry was beaten by Ardrey Kell 75-30 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Berry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 455th, while Ardrey Kell is ranked 32nd).
Zahnia Long put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 18 points along with three steals. That was a full 60% of Berry's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Harding University was dealt a bruising 72-18 loss at the hands of Berry in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Harding University was down 30-10.
