Paige Murray turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than nine strikeouts on Wednesday. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Considering she played a big game the last time she faced off against Batavia back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.

Murray and St. Charles North will face off against Lincoln-Way Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are coming into the match hot: they've won eight straight on the road.
