Princeton was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from sixth to fourth in Grand River. The Tigers defeated King City 27-12 earlier in the week.
South Harrison extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Albany, 78-0. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Gallatin's dynamic duo of Zack Lollar and Chad Ness proved tough for Maysville to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lollar threw for 242 yards and four touchdowns and Ness had 215 yards receiving. Issac Mattis helped Gallatin's passing attack out by catching one ball for 15 yards.
Tyler O'Neal was the most productive running back in the league this week. In nine carries, he ran for 166 yards as South Harrison bested the Wolverines. Dylan Heitz also contributed to the rushing game with 133 yards on the ground.
Caleb Obert's team's Heitz and Kaid Hendren have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Grand River in both passing and receiving yards. Heitz has thrown for 1273 yards this season, while Hendren has 33 catches for 676 yards. Colton Hartley from Princeton leads the league in rushing with 1025 yards.
The Wildkats' Trey Thompson is a mere 18 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 167 carries Thompson has accumulated 982 yard this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Maysville takes on the Bulldogs. EDWARD FRY's team is in fifth place, while South Harrison is in first place.
The Bulldogs took down the Warriors 78-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Heitz threw for 166 yards and one touchdown in the win.
