It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lee Park Prep had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Charity Christian Cardinals. Considering the Knights have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Ansley Green was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over six innings while giving up four earned runs off four hits. Green was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Morgan Swann was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Alexander, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Lee Park Prep's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Charity Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.
