After a string of four wins, Episcopal of Acadiana's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Academy of Our Lady Penguins. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Penguins apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2018.

Episcopal of Acadiana's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Academy of Our Lady, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-3.

Looking ahead, Episcopal of Acadiana will challenge St. Martinville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Academy of Our Lady, they will face off against Edna Karr at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Penguins their first taste of in-conference action this season.
