Twin Valley has been on the road for four straight, but on Monday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Springfield Cosmos at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Twin Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Twin Valley had just enough and edged Bellows Falls out 51-48.
Twin Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brayden Brown led the charge by scoring 23 points along with five assists and three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Brown has scored at least 25% of Twin Valley's points. Another player making a difference was Noah Dornbrgh, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, Springfield took a serious blow against Hartford on Thursday, falling 96-30. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Springfield in their matchups with Hartford: they've now lost nine in a row.
Twin Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Everything went Twin Valley's way against Springfield when the teams last played back in January of 2020 as Twin Valley made off with a 55-31 victory. Does Twin Valley have another victory up their sleeve, or will Springfield turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
