The Orting Cardinals entered their tilt with the Olympic Trojans with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Orting blew past Olympic 44-0 at home. Considering Orting has won six matches by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Leading Orting to victory were Shiron Seniours and Carson McCall. Seniours gained 80 total yards and a touchdown, while McCall rushed for 95 yards on only nine carries.
Orting's win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points per game. As for Olympic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.
Orting will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Enumclaw at 7:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Enumclaw knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully Orting likes a good challenge. Olympic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
