Sequoia lost to Summit Shasta back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Ravens walked away with a 2-0 win over the Black Bears.

Kiera Winters paced Sequoia's offense, picking up 12 kills. Winters got some help from Jayda McGlennon and her 25 assists. McGlennon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Sequoia's victory bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Summit Shasta, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sequoia will face off against Aragon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Dons will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Ravens surely won't give up without a fight. As for Summit Shasta, they will square off against The Nueva School at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
