Juan Diego Catholic is 8-2 against Tooele since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Soaring Eagle will face off against the Buffaloes at 3:30  p.m. Tooele took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Juan Diego Catholic, who comes in off a win.
The home team had won the previous two meetings between Juan Diego Catholic and Cottonwood, and Juan Diego Catholic kept the tradition alive. The Soaring Eagle put the hurt on the Colts with a sharp  9-1 victory on Wednesday. The Soaring Eagle not only won  on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win  since April 2nd (when they won  13-3).
 Lange Livonius made a splash no matter where he played. He  tossed 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  runs and one  RBI.

 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Hayden Mezenen, who  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Castle Huggard, who  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Juan Diego Catholic  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cottonwood only posted  an  OBP of  .286.
 Tooele couldn't beat Stansbury  on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the sixth inning. The Buffaloes fell just short of the Stallions by a score of  11-10. The Buffaloes haven't had much luck with the Stallions recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
 Juan Diego Catholic's win was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 10-11. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Tooele, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
 Everything went Juan Diego Catholic's way against Tooele when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, as Juan Diego Catholic made off with  a  7-0 win. Do  the Soaring Eagle have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Buffaloes turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
