Lange Livonius made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hayden Mezenen, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Castle Huggard, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Juan Diego Catholic always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cottonwood only posted an OBP of .286.
Tooele couldn't beat Stansbury on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the sixth inning. The Buffaloes fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 11-10. The Buffaloes haven't had much luck with the Stallions recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.
Juan Diego Catholic's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-11. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Tooele, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
