Leading Royal Palm Beach to victory were Makayla Williams-Johnson and Mariayah Jean. Williams-Johnson scored 13 points along with 9 rebounds, while Jean scored 15 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jean has scored at least 25% of Royal Palm Beach's points.
Pahokee's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Royal Palm Beach, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Pahokee will be playing at home against Boynton Beach at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Royal Palm Beach, they will head out on the road to face off against Dr. Joaquin Garcia at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Dr. Joaquin Garcia comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
