Even if the Trojans couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.
Parkland got a big performance out of Anna Belletieri, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits Belletieri has posted since back in April of 2024. Emma Kushner was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
Pocono Mountain West's win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2. As for Parkland, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
