Tates Creek had lost four games on the road, but after bumping their record up to 12-15  on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview.  Blake Jones looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off   three  hits. Tates Creek is 5-2 when  Jones allows two or  fewer  earned runs, but 7-13 otherwise.
 At the plate,  DJ Carter was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI. That  triple was  his first of the season.
As for West Jessamine, they have  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost 12 of their last 16 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-24 record  this season. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
On West Jessamine's side, they got a good showing from  Landon Davis, who   pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. That's the fewest  hits  Davis has allowed since back in April.
 On the hitting side,  Dylan Milholland made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.  Mavrick Napier was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  double.
 Looking ahead, Tates Creek will host North Laurel  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. West Jessamine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
